The South Texas Bonecrushers Football Team is a minor professional football team. The team is a non-profit organization and consists of adult men and women ages 18 and older. We are based out of the Corpus Christi area and consist of a football and dance team. We support disadvantaged football players and dancers in our community who have promising futures at the college or even professional levels. For many of these men and women playing or dancing for our team it is there best chance to get scouted and have a chance to earn a college education or the ability to advance to the professional level. We are proud of the achievements and hard work of the men and women associated with our team. We have members of all ages attending college or hoping to be scouted and receive some type of scholarship to be able to attend college. Education is important and is one of our team goals. Other team goals are to : provided adults with organized competition in a safe environment, bring our adults closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition, instill the values of being role models to the younger generations, acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game rules; running, kicking, blocking and tackling / dancing, teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game, and encourage the players to maintain positive behavior and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between education, work, family and athletic endeavors and lastly, helping the community by volunteering our time in charitable events, schools, hospitals, adult centers, etc.
